Join us in developing the future of work methods in child and adolescent psychiatry!
As part of the healthcare transition to close care, a new working method called the mobile intermediate care team has been tested within BUP since 2024.
The intermediate care team is cross-professional and is tasked with working mobile, early, and operationally in the child's, adolescent's, and family's daily life. The goal is to meet the needs that require additional child psychiatric care interventions. This working method means that both inpatient and outpatient care within child and adolescent psychiatry can contact the intermediate care team for home interventions.
The target group is children and young people with severe to moderate psychiatric issues such as depression, anxiety, and eating disorders, where there is a need for early and coordinated support and adaptation.
Part of the team is based in Kalmar and part in Västervik, but the entire team collaborates to meet the needs in Kalmar County. The work involves a lot of travel within the county.
Due to retirement, we are now looking for a new social worker for the intermediate care team in the northern part of the county.
